This 5-day Workshop provides teens with opportunities to develop reliable bases for making informed choices, increase their social competency and resilience, and improve coping skills, thereby preparing them for leadership positions in the home, school and the community. The Workshop helps youth understand the changes, demands and difficulties teens face. In a lively, interactive process it offers practical methods to assist youth in being able to meet and successfully master these adolescent challenges. In the same “no put down” atmosphere they learn and have the opportunity to practice:

• How to differentiate between functional and toxic relationships
• Appropriate interpersonal behaviors and social communication skills
• Peaceful conflict management techniques
• The use of inquiry to enhance problem-solving skills
• How to build healthy attitudes and individual strength of character
• The elements of responsible citizenship
